Saltgrass Steak House

Saltgrass has always been one of my favorite places to dine, and with good reason. Recently, one of my visits fell short of what I've come to expect, and I shared those details in a previous review. In true fashion, this company stepped up and went above and beyond to make sure that experience was made right. We were invited back, and Will, Javier, and their staff at the Amarillo location provided an experience I'll not soon forget. They went above and beyond anything I could have expected and made sure our steaks were on point and overall experience was above par from start to finish. I can't say enough about the commitment to customers that this company exemplifies. We returned for my husband's birthday a few weeks ago, and once again, everything was absolutely amazing! This time, I tried the salmon, and it was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, tender, and very flavorful. Thank you to Will, Javier, the Saltgrass staff, and the company for doing what many other businesses fail to do. The consistency in food quality and service is unmatched and present through every location I've visited. We'll definitely be back!

Ate here on 1/23/2023. Staff was friendly and service was quick. I couldn't bring myself to pay $30 for a NY Strip so, I had a hamburger. Excellent food. I've had steaks at this chain in the past and they are very good.

Only gave 4 out of 5 stars because the frozen margarita, which was very good, was frozen from top to bottom. Ended up eating it with a spoon.

I'll would gladly return to this restaurant.

I definitely have to say... That if you don't have to do take out...Don't! The last time I had eaten at Saltgrass Steak House was several years ago, The staff was Amazing and just being able to enjoy the atmosphere, along with whomever you are out enjoying your time with; or if it's just out enjoying yourself!
On October 27, 2022 I happened to order take out, as life sometimes seems to be a Rush!
The Steak and salad was delicious! The baked potato was not fully done, but hey, it was still able to be eaten, after I cooked it longer.
Overall, the atmosphere is awesome, there is a bar, if you rather sit at; as well you can sit out on the patio. Your choice, just enjoy.

We ate an early dinner so restaurant wasn't busy, ordered from the Gluten Sensitive menu, which has a great selection of different types of protein.
I had a Pat's Ribeye with Garlic mash and Broccoli for the sides.
Great flavor, almost fork tender meat , mashed were seasoned with a nice hint of garlic, Broccoli was steamed with butter as ordered.
This place is great for everyone, Gluten Sensitive included.

Great food options! Soup was cold and late when we got it, so that was the only thing. Other than that, the Gulf Coast Steak and shrimp was pretty good, sweet potato fries and the mushrooms for appetizers were really good. I really like their bread too!
