Starlight Ranch Event Center

It's an interesting little place, that has a real backyard vibe to it. I would have given it five stars if they allowed reentry.. but I refuse to buy a new ticket every time I want to go back to the car for a sweater or something.
The sound setup is pretty good actually.

So first, the venue: converted water park turned into my new favorite concert venues (and I've been to Red Rocks, Golden Gate Park, the Greek ... All of the LA places.)
Everyone is friendly. The staff is helpful. Drinks are affordable. And not a bad view in the place.
The grounds are rustic but well manicured.

Cool spot. If you buy a drink you'll miss an hour of concert. The lines are not incredibly long....the logistics and drink makers are incredibly slow. My only complaint. It was a small venue, smaller than expected. So if you're standing expect sardines! Drink lines man......drink lines....

Good variety of food trucks they had. Every concert is going to be a bit different.

Porta potties were clean BUT no hand sanitizer or washing station...? Ew. Okay I gotta take another half star off for that one.

I’ve attended 2 events here And I really love the space. It feels like a really tiny midstate fair. There’s little buildings all around and a nice big stage and seating area. The VIP area was really nice where we sat and watched a concert. One of these events I was a vendor. I had trouble with the Wi-Fi for my square reader but I hear they may have resolved that now. There’s a tiny little playground and mini golf on site. They have always had additional Porta potty‘s in addition to their regular restrooms. The on-site bar actually has whiskey and vodka and tequila which is nice. Too bad they don’t serve big Texan beer! That would be an awesome addition and I would pay more money for specialty beer rather than Bud Light! I really quite like this venue. I will say that when the wind blows it can get quite dusty out there which isn’t ideal but it is Amarillo after all!
