“Fun place with decent food. Food on the menu is $4 for each item. Beware of shots that are off the menu, as they are extra. For example, they told us if the shots are off the menu it’s $16 each! A worker came by offering “tasting off shots” but failed to mention that they were charged.. yeah we caught that. Otherwise.. fun place and good drinks. Make sure you ask for the price before you accept anything they offer. I feel like they target people who are drunk.. music was kinda loud.”

“I’m pretty sure I was born on the wrong continent, because I could easily trade any and all American food for a lifetime eating Asian. That includes everything from Japan and Korea over to India, and, of course, the Middle East, as all of these comprise the Asian spectrum of cuisine. So when I spied a new Indian restaurant today in Amarillo, I quickly changed my plans to head home for a boring lunch. Nope, it was going to be Indian today, a cuisine I have come to love not just for some similarities to Thai, but also its unique fare. Sai Indian did not disappoint in the least, and judging by the steady crowd of patrons entering and exiting, I’d say this place has quickly built up a clientele. Their Health Inspection Report of 97 is amazing in its own right, but their food goes over 100 effortlessly. I ordered Aloo Gobi, as it is among my Indian faves, which amounts to cauliflower, potatoes, and tomatoes in a spicy curry sauce. It is served with a bowl of steaming Basmati rice. I also ordered a side of Roti, a gluten free and vegan alternative to Naan bread. I requested a 3 out of 5 on the spiciness scale, which was just enough to elicit a little sinus activity, but no sweating or crying. Hats off to Sai Indian for offering a very long vegetarian menu alongside traditional omnivore options. They tell me they are very happy to adapt to vegan as requested. I’m thrilled to add this place to my short list of Amarillo favorites. I shall return, and very soon.”

“If you're passing through Amarillo, this is a great place to stop and eat! Our party of 8 ordered just about everything on the menu, and everything was a 10/10. One of the best BBQ places we have eaten. Plus, don't leave without trying the delish banana or chocolate pudding!!”

“This location has just opened up not too long ago. I did utilize the drive thru, and I can say that they have the best associates so far. Really helpful, they took the time to explain the menu and recommended on the highest selling items. Couple issues I had seen, I got sold a beer without being asked for an Identification. Same for a friend I had with me that is 19yrs old. Food was really pricey and not worth the price. But other than that it was okay.”

“We had the most amazing experience at Mi Gente last night! My husband had the Cuban Sandwich and I had the Carnita Tacos. They were both delicious! We also had their street corn which was out of this world! Chef Paul and his lovely wife, Amber and her sweet aunt were so hospitable and attentive. Their brick and mortar space is so inviting and perfectly clean! It was a great experience all the way around! We can’t wait to tell our friends and return to Mi Gente!”

“I came straight here after a 10-hour driving day, and it was the perfect place to let down, have a brew, and eat a good quick meal. I arrived before the after-work crowd on Wednesday afternoon and, lucky me! All their home brew pints were $3! I thoroughly enjoyed my Six Car Hazy IPA (Amarillo Sunset), the Chicken Ranch Bacon pizza (a touch overdone, but still tasty), and side Strawberry Feta Salad. The servers were prompt, friendly, attentive, and helpful. If I lived in Amarillo, I would be a regular!”

“Firstly, the filet here is delicious, and the chef's choice charcuterie was quite good! Sadly, I was less impressed with the chicken picatta. It came a little overdone and dry, so wouldn't recommend. Service was a bit lacking the but the live music was great on the patio!”

“I had a great experience at gooney's The bar tender was very friendly añd gave me a lot of insight about the city. She also suggested a drink (her favorite) which was actually very tasty. I wasn't really hungry so I clcant really say much about the food other than the egg roll I had which was very and I mean very delicious. Definitely going back for food ..”

“An entire knock out place to drink and eat. Brisket pizza is such a delight, and getting to watch them make your pie out front adds the cherry on top! Don’t forget the Basque Cheesecake, I should have gotten one to go! 10/10”
