“Loved Poncho's Pizza! See were traveling through town and luckily found Poncho's. My husband and I each had an individual size pizza. Meat Lovers and Hawaii...so GOOD! We also had great and friendly service. Thank you, Poncho's!”

“If you ever find yourself in Presidio you need to try this place. Very small, only three inside tables, and so clean. Simple menu. You do have to ask for chips and salsa. We shared the bean, cheese, and meat nachos, as we were eating later. Very good. Salsa has a great flavor.”

“The menu is a mix of American and Mexican and have had both on two visits. The Mexican food is classic and very good. On my last visit, I had the Fideo soup and the spinach salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was grilled perfectly with an excellent crispy finish. Service is good and the atmosphere is clean, spacious, bright. This will be my stop every time I visit Big Bend Ranch State Park.”

“As we were passing through Presidio, we chose to have lunch at Oasis because, at the time, the Google rating was 4.6. Our hopes were high but they were soon dashed. My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak which was overcooked and smothered in lumpy gravy. Against my husband’s advice, I ordered the salmon as the menu was rather sophisticated. I’ve never had salmon jerky before! It wasn’t even worth sending back. One and done for us!”

“1st time I went a few weeks back, they were out of estofado for the Torta and I got a burger. It was a decent burger no complaints. But the 2nd time they had estofado and man, that was a really good torta. Best I have had in a while in town. Definitely will be going back when in town. Also red and green salsas were terrific as well.”

“The park ranger at Fort Leaton recomanded we try this place and said it was also dog friendly. This place is absolutely delicious, the customer service is great, the tacos, Jamaica and horchata were amazing. We definitely recomand El Changarrito to anyone that likes authentic Mexican food and it’s in the area. Our huskies also enjoyed resting here”

“Place had a cute patio, though we sat inside on a very rainy fall day. Service was very friendly. The green chile cheeseburger was legit and well cooked on a soft bun. Cashew chicken rice dish was a nice healthy option, could use a bit more cashews and sauce.”

“Food was decent, banana split was delicious. First time to this location and it was bigger then I expected for a small town joint. Staff was nice, but did have to wait quite a while for my order, roughly 25 minutes.”

“Best wine selection that i found in West Texas! Food was really good! Service was great, very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. Friendly regulars, neat decor, cool uncommon wines, good location, plenty of parking... Next time i make it to Marfa, I'll definitely be back!”

“You wouldn’t know how well designed this place was from the street view. But the coffee, sandwiches, and general ambiance is fantastic. A good selection of art books and nick-nacks. Cozy corners to sip coffee in and generous outdoor seating both covered and uncovered.”

“Had a blast here! We came by at night to grab a bite to eat and visit the bar. The food was pretty good for a bar and the vibe was so nice. Loved the teepee and the seating areas. While we came to eat, they had a karaoke event going on and we loved it. Very nice people and locals. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Marfa.”

“Coleyworld approved! 💜 Cutest little breakfast spot tucked between two old buildings and had that old historical building structure kind of vibe. Breakfast was perfect but oh em geeee the sourdough bread and jelly were out of this WORLD. It’s the simple things.”

“Cheerful and attentive staff took care of us throughout our time there. On a busy Saturday night we waited about 30 minutes to be seated. There's bar-style seating taking up half of the dining room. Small tables take up the rest of the space. Accommodating a large group here would be a challenge. The food was uniquely seasoned. Each dish was served hot and satisfied our appetite.”

“We loved the restaurant but the food not so much! The spaghetti was somehow acidic, not to our taste... And the steak had a weird taste to it... We are also from Texas but I guess it just wasn't our type of food... Nonetheless we had two amazing servers, and they even made us some lemonade because we didn't want soda nor alcoholic beverages.”

“Excellent food and service. We had a reservation and switch our table to accommodate incoming wedding party. Staff was so kinda and helpful. Kudos to Mo. Food was incredible and wine pairing perfect. Art and decor inspiration”

“The atmosphere only scored low due to the loud atmosphere, there was a art gallery event going on in town and it was hard to carry a conversation. It is a bit on the pricier side for most places. Our server Daniel was decent. He seemed to have a lot of tables but didn't seem flustered or overwhelmed but it definitely did seem to take from the experience. The steak frites was tender and the perfect temperature. The spare ribs were fall of bone, the Caesar salad was properly dressed without being heavy and the romaine crisp. The steak nachos were great starter. The salmon linguini was delicious. Crispy garlic bread and we also had the pepperoni, brick oven pizza. Pizza is about a 12" or medium size from your major pizza chains so it can easily feed 2-3. My husband tried the pinto canyon mule and lost gringo. Both drinks were good, I dipped a bit of each and I prefer the lost gringo because the prickly pear flavor stood out and shined.”

“I hit this hotel bar "late" night for a night cap and a bite to eat and enjoyed it so much I went back the next night. The bartender was super friendly despite being super busy with the full bar. I couldn't resist the crab cake with sherry cream and picked okra which was incredible! They have televisions to catch the game as well and it's always a great people watching bar, especially during event weekends.”

“Loved our girl’s weekend stay at Hotel St. George. Modern architecture fits beautifully against desert and mountain landscape. Tranquil and comfy rooms provided peace while lively bar is the place to be after dinner. Appreciate that the gift shop has reasonably priced but unique items to remind us of Marfa. Lastly, we had a memorable dinner at La Venture. Delicious!”

“Not disappointed. On a Sunday night around 6:30 in January we were told it was an hour wait for pizza but it was more like 45. We had a couple ice cold beers while we waited. Beers were $2 each. The pizza had thin crust and was tasty. Not a bad stop for sure.”
