Vinny's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria

my family and I were out of town and we were exploring leaky and found this gem. we ordered the Vinny pizza and 48 wings. the pizza was warm and had a good crunch, toppings were realty fresh and the wings were oven baked not fried and were really delicious. totally worth it if you have a craving for Italian.

Updated 8/14/21. Got to go back again yesterday and just as great as it was our first time. Meet the owner and cannot say enough good things about how great the food is here.

This was some of the BEST PIZZA I have had in a long time. So few places can make a real New York style pizza that tastes great and has that wonderful crust that you have to fold to eat. I have never been to Leakey before but was told there was good pizza in town, but didn't expect that! We ordered a 16" and I ate two thirds of it myself, we even had slices leftover for breakfast the next day at our campsite. We are planning a trip to Garner gain in a few weeks and WE WILL BE BACK!!!

I come from a real Italian family that has pizzerias in the north east and this is great pizza that would make them proud to server.

It's a 500 mile trip, but I will be back again and again.

So we where a group of 7 hungry people and I'd looked up Vinny's prior to our arrival and knew I wanted to order pizza. The food took a little longer than they said, but I waited patiently. The pizza was good and the wings were absolutely delicious. My only issue was the veggie pizza I ordered for my sister's boyfriend. It did not look appetizing. There was way too much going on and it didn't even look liked the veggies were baked onto pizza. I won't add photos because I don't want to diminish the fact everything else was superb.

We had a 12" sausage, mushroom, and onion pizza that was very good. We were pleased to note that the mushrooms did not come from a can and the sausage was a tasty Italian/fennel blend.
