“Friendly and accommodating family-run spot, motorcycle-friendly, and perfectly situated for exploring the great surrounding roads. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with the basics. The food was a cut above standard bar fare, and both food and bar prices were very reasonable. The Friday night live music was outstanding and the place was packed with what seemed like a perfect mix of locals and outsiders, and had a great vibe. Look forward to another visit.”

“We visited this place today, one year exactly after their opening. They did some renovations from the previous versions of this restaurant and made it quite pleasant inside. The best thing though is the food! I can’t speak to anything but the BBQ, but it was absolutely great. The portions were large, cost was reasonable and the taste put this BBQ joint at the top of a long list of my favourite BBQ restaurants!!”

“Great place to check out while riding the twisted sisters. Best burger we've had in a long time. Reasonable prices. It is a cool bar and grill that is biker themed. Had a mixed crowd of bikers, Harley, sport bikes, adventure and touring bikes. Auto drivers as well. Very clean with lots of indoor outdoor seating country backdrop. Nice gift shop as well. “We pulled in at closing this evening with a broken down bike. They gentleman was very gracious and made us the most delicious bbq rib plate with potato salad and macaroni &cheese! He allowed us to stay and wait for a trailer to pick us up. The food was some of the best home style food ever, but the hospitality was very appreciated! Made our day one to remember! Thank you!”

“We had a party of 9, six of whom were kids and the two waitresses on duty handled it amazingly! The food was good! I got the street tacos, one of my go to plates in many different towns, and this by far had some of the BEST street tacos I've had!!! The seating area inside is small but they have an outside eating area as well! We liked it!!!”

“Updated 8/14/21. Got to go back again yesterday and just as great as it was our first time. Meet the owner and cannot say enough good things about how great the food is here. This was some of the BEST PIZZA I have had in a long time. So few places can make a real New York style pizza that tastes great and has that wonderful crust that you have to fold to eat. I have never been to Leakey before but was told there was good pizza in town, but didn't expect that! We ordered a 16" and I ate two thirds of it myself, we even had slices leftover for breakfast the next day at our campsite. We are planning a trip to Garner gain in a few weeks and WE WILL BE BACK!!! I come from a real Italian family that has pizzerias in the north east and this is great pizza that would make them proud to server. It's a 500 mile trip, but I will be back again and again.”

“Hidden gem! My friends and I visited Bears Den after looking for something to eat late in the afternoon, and it was the closest thing that was open but still almost 10 miles away. I was wary of the quality because in my experience small hidden places like these usually don't mind the quality too much but I am happy to say we were all pleasantly surprised! Not only was the food really good, the staff were all very friendly. The décor was also super cute, I loved the little bears all over the restaurant, worth mentioning it was also very clean. Will definitely come again if around the area!”
