“Based on non-gas services. Bathroom was clean Pop (soda) and coffee were both $1 for refills Ladies doing tacos and burritos were very nice and generous with the carnitas in the burrito. Surprisingly good for a gas station (sorry gas station restaurants, but you know we have low expectations). Not too hard to exit and re-enter. Oh, and the “dog park” was nice. It’s rare to have a nice little safe area to walk the dog at a gas station. Definitely suggest as a stop.”

“WE STOPPED BECAUSE OF ITS INCREDIBLY CONVENIENT LOCATION, AND AFTER EATING THERE FELT LIKE WE HAD FOUND TREASURE. The barbecue was some of the best I have ever had, very flavorful. The service was amazing, friendly, welcoming and prompt. The atmosphere was inviting and exactly what a country barbecue restaurant should be. I hope that if you are near this gem that you will stop and enjoy.”

“If you’re in Franklin for the weekend, you MUST come here!!! The food is made fresh from scratch and DELICIOUS!!! The owner/operator and her family and the atmosphere are super friendly as well. Don’t waste your money or calories anywhere else. I had the privilege of trying her fantastic raspberry chipotle meatloaf and my husband got the best, most flavorful, freshest shrimp and grits of our lives. I also had the banana pudding for dessert. It was amazing and more of a light, whipped consistency like a mousse still with all of the flavor. They offer rotating dishes and specials, so visit with an open mind.”

“The best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. The flaming tender box is my absolute favorite, it has the perfect amount of spice to it and they are super generous with the sides! It came with a side of potato salad, waffle fries (or sweet potato fries, and tots), and Texas toast. I haven’t had one thing at Mike’s that I haven’t liked, and their delicious food keeps me coming back. Check them out, unless you like mediocre food!”

“This place came up on Trip advisor as the food being good. We got here and I ordered the baked potato and salad. My baked potatoes was dry and under cooked and my wife's salad was sloppy with too much dressing. However I'm giving it a four star because our service was fantastic and our waitress's was very attentive. It was only their 2nd day of opening after being shut down with the covid 19 situation. And it's a mom and pop, which we should all support I'm this time of crisis”
