On the occasion we went to el potosino even the local law enforcement were enjoying the food and said it was really good. This was my first visit and to have them say that was a big plus. The # 7 and the # 21 were amazing.”

“We visited on a Saturday afternoon in October around 1pm. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer, bringing us things we requested quickly and with a smile. This, even though there were five or six tables of customers and she was the only waitress. The restaurant had just recently reopened after being closed during COVID. The food arrived quickly and was as good, if not better than anything you could get in a metropolitan area like Dallas. And the prices were reasonable. The 5 piece chicken tender basket with Texas Toast and one side was $8. A combo meal at Whataburger can cost just as much. I would highly recommend the Heart of Texas Grill on the square in San Augustine.”

“Hardware on the square is our hometown “do it yourself” store. The owners and staff are always very friendly and when I visit I am always warmly welcomed and greeted by name. They offer a wide range of supplies you would expect from a hardware store and it has been my experience, if they don’t have what you need, they’re more than happy and willing to order it for you. The pizza’s are amazing and they offer reg crust and cauliflower crust! But my favorite is the coffee bar, and I look forward to my daily morning frappe”

“The ladies were great. The lady helping me was very fast, polite and accurate. I had to wait because of social distance stuff because the bilingual employee was helping another customer who had a larger order to go but the employee who helped me, made sure that we were expedited thru the checkout. I also noticed that when I was leaving and there was no one left except the employees that they immediately went to the back to continue to work. The food was great and the store clean and the employees were using the appropriate food handling requirements and ppe Great job ladies and great job Subway for great employees, great food and a great place to eat.”
