“Delightful feeling of an old bbq joint. Fast service. The brisket was tender and moist - hard to do on such a lean cut. Sells bbq by the pound, bbq sandwhiches, and entrees.”

“This is a great place for really good food (onion rings amazing) and cold buckets of beer and even live open mic on a Sunday. Nice decor and the owner is pretty creative with landscape and music. memorabilia. Every employee we encountered was super friendly and the owner even stopped to say hello! I will be going back there soon!”

“Newly opened at the end of 2021. Operated by an experienced restauranteur using tested recipes, a real supply chain, and skilled employees. As well, they are training new employees and the place is doing a nice job. My wife and I order burgers and nachos and have been happy with those items. ps. this was not a paid placement!”

“Great place out in the middle of no where! On our way back home and needed a place easy to park our RV trailer and this is it! Food was good, service was friendly. It's made to order so don't think fast food unless you order pizza for pickup ahead. I had a good burger and fries here. It's a neat set up and looks like they even have RV hookups to stay a few days or as an overnight stop. Hope they get involved with Harvest Host or Passport America!”

“So I love trying new restaurants & I went here with a co worker to have a burger. I know "you went to an Italian restaurant to have a cheeseburger???" Yes I did. My friend had told me the burgers were the best she's ever had & I love burgers. I had to try it for myself. Omg...the burgers are absolutely delicious! I love them. The cook & waitress are always very nice & welcoming! I love this restaurant. When I want Italian I get the shrimp alfredo, its delicious! Their alfredo sauce is the best I've ever had! Absolutely a gem to find in ol' San Saba.”

“I'm not sure what's best the wait staff, friendly locals, or the food. The combination is outstanding. They offer wonderful dining experiences. It is cozy enough yet open and lively. My food was prepared to perfection. My guest, who never eats an entire meal, cleaned her entire plate. I cannot say enough. Dining in is far better than take out. I had the surf and turf. My guest had the snapper.”

“I ordered the 6 piece Fried Shrimp plate which comes with your choice of House Salad or Caesar Salad and one side. I chose the Caesar Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing and Fried Okra. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, our waitress finally arrived with our meals. She tells us that she looked for our salads but didn't find any because they had already put everything away in the kitchen and asks if we would like a different side in it's place. If they could offer to cook us a different side in place of the salad, why couldn't they prepare the salad that we were supposed to get with our meal? The shrimp and fried okra were good but our meal was incomplete and still full price and our quality of service was slightly poor.”

“Burgers and Catfish are no joke. Catfish seasoned so well with the right amount of cornmeal - no tartar sauce needed. Battered onion rings and fries are great also. Cold beer, live music from local musicians. Great lunch after some biking at the state park.”
