“The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant was super cute, and customer service was good. However, the food was just ok. I ordered the Lauryn's Lemon Basil on a croissant. Imagine taking cooked chicken, mayo, lemon juice, and basil and putting it a blender and mixing it until it was mush. It was more the consistency of a condiment to a sandwich. I was really surprised considering the name of the restaurant and entire menu is chicken salad. You'd think they would serve some amazing chicken salad. Just not so. Chicken salad should have flavor and crunch. The chicken salad here definitely needs improvement.”

“Brisket was delicious. Loved the fries too. Man it can't get any better, I was in heaven. 9 bucks for a half a pound of brisket is very reasonable, especially when it's that good!”

“So the sandwiches here are good.....but the coffee is stellar! I don't know how they make it, but I love their iced coffees. If you love espresso based iced beverages at Starbucks, you should give this place a try. It is about $3 for a "grande" sized cup. Service is typical for a Vietnamese sandwich shop, nothing special. You better know what you want by the time you order because you will be skipped over if they have to wait for you to make a selection.”

“The price is great. The tacos Al pastor could be better, well, all of the tacos could be better if they didn't drown them in oil. I guess it all depends on who's working that day, because there's been times where they're delicious and just on point.”

“This is a fantastic restaurant. The owners are family and they treat you like family! The food is incredible and the margarita's (Rock's only, salt rim, lime NEVER FROZEN) is the best I've ever had. My favorite dish (pictured) Molcajete Gomez! The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. It has chorizo with cheese was spicy but not hot. And the white rectangles in the lava rock are chihuahua cheese... Ulysses, the owner tells me it's made from real chihuahuas. ;-) Tastes great! And truly great pricing and a fun relaxing atmosphere.”

“I was able to ponder upon a great little gem today! Jambo’s BBQ did not disappoint! I was raised around a family that loves to BBQ and are rather competitive when it comes to the flavor and texture of the meat. Upon walking in I was greeted and able to have a quick chat about some local favorites. I chose to try my two favorite meats brisket and ribs. Both meats were flavorful and tender. The ribs were fall of the bone delicious! I also tried the cowboy corn which was amazing!! This place is a MUST try!!”

“Best Mexican food this side of the Rio Grande. The ladies there are the best in the business. As always, make sure you tip your waitress well. Everyone at Paula's works hard to make sure your dining experience is enjoyable, except Silvia. Just kidding. She's the best.”

“We ordered the beef stew and fried rice. First let me say the food has good flavor but not quite what we expected. The beef stew is just meat and sauce, but the meat is not tender at all its tough and chewy. The fried rice comes with chicken but its 2 buffalo style drumettes, that are just cooked in the oven. So don't expect pieces of chicken in the rice. The menu we were given had one price but when we placed our ordet we were informed prices had changed and everything we ordered was $5 more than we thought. So as for us it was our first and probably last time there. But give it a try it might be better for you.”

“Cartel Taco Bar is always amazing, but I was really impressed with how they handled my to go order during this stay-at-home order. They were so careful to wear gloves, etc., and even had sanitizing wipes beside the register. Thank you all for being so careful during this time! I’ll definitely be back.”

“I love this place! Every time I visit Texas I go back, they have a delicious selection of beers and they're always changing their menu. Their staff are very knowledgeable, they also sell flights and growlers and will refill your growlers, and they also have a nice selection of bottled beers as well. I should also mention that they don't serve food but you can order from J. Gilligan's Bar & Grill next door and they'll deliver your order to Kool Keg and you can eat it there. The overall establishment and bathrooms are also super clean and they have a TV to watch sports. Highly recommend!!”

“The food was well packed and very tasty. The instructions were easy to read and every thing was clearly labeled. The staff also seemed to enjoy what they do and made me smile. Would love to dine in rather than carry out next time. The Ramen eggs were the highlight for me along with the Reaper spice level.”
