Two words. Apple Flapjack. This behemoth of a pancake takes half of the table space. And every bite of apple, cinnamon, caramel, and whip cream was better each bite. Has it as a meal with an obscene amount of scrambled eggs and a sausage patty that was charbroiled for that smokey flavor. All for $15. See if Sara is working, she is an excellent server and her recommendations are spot on!
Service was good and food was delicious! Large, generous portions are crazy big. I was disappointed to see the shabby booths and the apple chairs from the previous restaurant and the air conditioning could have been cooler. Biscuits were kind of hard and I guess they knew that because they served them with a steak knife! But the flavor was so good that I ate them anyway. Pancakes are huge! Gravy is great. I'll visit again.
We had been waiting for this cafe to open and let me tell you, it was worth the wait! Perfect stop that hits the spot for after church brunch ! The management and staff service was exceptional! We loved being taken care by our waitress Alexis and look forward to many more visits ! It's very rare that you get a restaurant that goes over and beyond to make their customers feel welcomed, catered too and considered along with great tasting food! We highly recommend this Cafe 😊
We had great service, the portions were "Texas" size so everyone took home leftovers. Bailey, the waitress, was on the ball. She kept our drinks full and checked on our needs at just the right intervals. They have not had their grand opening yet so we technically were there during their soft opening which explains why we were the only customers in the place. One of the cooks, or managers, mentioned that they have very good prime rib but they were unable to serve it until they have a new commercial oven installed later this month. I enjoy a good prime rib meal so we will be returning later this month to see if it is as good as they say.
I did peruse their breakfast menu even though we were there during the dinner setting. There are several items that looked interesting so I am sure we will be visiting them often for our families weekend tradition of breakfast together.
It looks like it will be a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family so give them a try and let me know what you think.
