Fred's Texas Cafe - TCU

Food was awesome! Had the new outlaw burger that included a whole poblano with cheese! Service and food delivery was slow for the 2 extra people that joined us and had a hard time tracking down our waiter for extras. Otherwise would give 5 stars.

We were there on a wed. Or Thur night the place was busy on the patio. We had come to here a friend play. The sound was not good hard to understand the words. Told them and they said next time they would bring their own. Salad was good, beer was cold. Our young waiter was running his legs off trying to cover more then was possible. Pickles were suppose to come before meal never came, we had to reorder them and my beer I waited about 20 mins for and had to ask for it. We said cant imagine and wouldnt wont to be here on the weekend. Maybe just a bad night for them?

Incredible service and the wait staff or awesome. Great job Adrian. You have to try their onion rings they are legit as well as they are Diablo Burger. Chicken fried steak is unique but it is real and very tasty.

So delicious! So delicious that we forgot to take pictures. We had fried pickles, burgers, nachos, chicken fried steak with questions and cold beer! Chicken fried steak was pretty small and we would likely skip that next time, but would definitely go back and order the rest!
