H3 Ranch

H3 Ranch is located in the stockyards area. They have weekly lunch specials. Lunch specials are Monday through Friday and include enhiladas, catfish, fajitas, sausage sandwich and chopped sirloin steak. The atmosphere includes historic pictures and several types of animal taxidermy. The bar is beautiful and it feels like an old Western saloon. The portion size is generous. The service is friendly and the food is delicious.

Everything was absolutely great except for where they sat us. The food was perfect in every way the service from our waitress was better than most any restaurant I have been to. However we had reservations for 2 for our anniversary and they sat us right across from the exit from the kitchen. There was people constantly walking by Going in-and-out of the kitchen. If it wasn't a special night for us it wouldn't have been a problem I guess. And I guess I could have asked for a different seat but I think if we made reservations for our anniversary that that kind of should have been their job. But maybe I'm wrong I don't know. It was my wife's 1st time there and although we have the seating issue we both agreed that the food was good enough to go back again even if we were forced to sit in the same seat again.
So really I don't know if this is a complaint or a compliment so you'll just kind of have do whatever you want with this information.......

Good alternative to the usual fare at the Stockyards. Great steak at a great price, good service and it was not too loud, so you can talk. I enjoyed it there! Been back 3 times, each time was great!

It was a great all around experience for a late night dinner! The atmosphere was good and the waiter we had was great and attentive! Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Stock Yards!

The food was delicious. We went on Spring Break and the service was great. There is also a bar and hotel attached with some interesting history to read about! If your just looking for a drink or a good meal this is the place for you. Kid Friendly.
