Lonesome Dove Fort Worth

I'm in love with this place! I'm probably a little partial because my husband and I got material in the wine seller under the restaurant BUT the food is amazing. This is Texas and there are plenty of good steak places but this place also has amazing sides, appetizers and desserts. It has great ambiance and the staff how always treated us well.

Outstanding elk sliders, Texas chili, and venison short ribs. This was one of the best meals ever, and one I'll never forget. It all paired great with a bottle of Ridge Pagani Ranch Zinfandel blend. The pictures were taken in near-dark lighting, so they may be useless.

Definitely worth the time and expense. I would recommend the "Rocky Mountain Elk Loin." In addition, dessert wine makes a great pair while dining, adding extra sweetness to savor. This upscale bistro will have you leaving satisfied.

Moderately pricey but the food is gourmet. Drinks are well worth the money. "We pour 'em like we drink 'em around here...stiff." The back patio has a fantastic view of the creek that runs through right next too the establishment.

Lovely place! They have the perfect settings to accommodate all of their guests needs. Great staff. All of the employees I encountered were smiling and friendly. I didn't order any food from their dinner menu but I did order dessert. Let me tell you... their Warm Ancho Chile Chocolate Cake was superb. I was a bit hesitant to order because of the Chile's, but boy am I glad I did. Every bite was like Heaven to my taste buds. I had split the dessert with my daughter and by the time we were finished, I wished I had ordered my own... It was truly delicious and I highly recommend taking the plunge.
