He was so skeptical that the bread wasn’t gluten free because 1. gluten free bread tends to be a lot smaller, 2. the texture was “too good to be true” according to him. By far the best gluten free bread he has had! Their fries are also AMAZING! They’re perfectly season and delicious! The Native fries are delicious as well. Everything we had was a very good portion and delicious! Will definitely go back!”

Why doesn't every restaurant serve corned beef hash, hashbrowns, onions, cheese, and eggs all in the same bowl? I was delighted to see a long list of creative mimosa combinations, such as the salted caramel apple cider mimosa. Unfortunately, they had run out of champagne the day before. All in all it was a great visit with tasty food and good service.”

I have got to know each of them over the year and we have become good friends! There are more employees that work there, and I'll assure you, they will treat you right! “I am typically a conservative reviewer. I like to give credit where credit is due. BOY, does this place deserve some credit! We came in hungry, but with low expectations due to our experiences eating at several restaurants on Eagle Mountain Lake. Seems like for MOST lakeside restaurants, the focus is on the view, not the food. Lakehouse is NOT your typical waterfront restaurant. The service was excellent, the prices were decent, the beer on tap was frothy and ice cold, and the atmosphere was casual, but still classy. Now, let's move on to the food: WOW. I ordered the Ojai burger and was delighted: delicious, fresh brioche bun, tasty fresh toppings (red onions, arugula, gourmet cheese, special sauce and avocado smash) and the patty was cooked to perfection. The sweet potato fries were the best I've had (hint of cinnamon was a nice surprise). My kids loved their meals also: chicken fingers w/regular fries, house salad with homemade ranch dressing. ALL DELIGHTFUL! We SHALL return! Thanks Lakehouse!”
