Dino’s Steak and Claw House

We’re from Wyoming and looked at the great chains like Perry’s, Del Frisco Grille and Bob’s but decided on the local place, Dino’s Steak and Claw House on Main Street Grapevine. WOW! Fantastic! From piano player to great service to great steak and scallops to superb brandy Alexander’s, the experience was unforgettable.

At first they couldn't locate the reservation and then the hostess reached out to a fellow coworker who assisted in confirming our reservation. Service was mediocre and very slow. We had a large group that booked weeks prior so I understand the pace can be difficult to maintain but we could handle find them. I would expect dedicated servers for such a large group..usually restaurants (especially nice ones such as this steakhouse) would have this planned ahead of time. We sat looking at butter on the table without any bread brought out until asked if it came with the butter. We ordered one of everything listed for the appetizers, the only decent thing was the scallops. My mashed potatoes were unseasoned and bland, the steak however was cooked to perfection. Not sure I would return.

Deserves 6 stars! Exquisite food. Flawless service. Excellent steaks and seafood. Nice wine selection, several ports available.

Excellent place. Nice decor and atmosphere. Staff was top notch. Food was so, so good. I recommend for date night.

This place is a delight. Great for a romantic date night. Live piano music and great wait staff. Had the crab claws as an appetizer. Delicious bread! Just don't almost drop your knife off the balcony to stab someone below. That would have been tragic.
