Always generous portions. Good selections of cuts (not fatty or gristle, just beef)
Fried okra, Cole slaw, baked beans & fries are all excellent tasting sides.
    Friendly service.

Always love David's BBQ. It's our favorite BBQ place in Arlington. Great family atmosphere. I like the sides there and always get the potato salad and baked beans. At most BBQ places the sides just aren't that great and I'm picky about my potato salad.

Food great! Service great! A bit outdated restaurant/decor... But what really matters is how the food tastes. Plus free vanilla ice cream!

I've always enjoyed David's BBQ ever since I was a kid and my grandparents would always treat us every now and then. They always give large portions (I love the sausage sandwich and the baked beans) and the soft served ice cream is amazing. Every time I walk in, I'm just amazed at how- it's never changed, it's the time capsule I've always remembered and can enjoy.

We finally made it to David's BBQ. It did not disappoint. Quality meats, smoked beautifully served in a different way held our attention. The serve yourself tray buffet style lends to quick service. Fresh fried sides are delivered to your table. Servings are generous so be smart in your ordering if you can't take it with you. A sandwich is VERY filling. I LOVED their sauce! Reminds me of home. Not too spicy, not too sweet. Perfectly complements the wood selection for the smoking. Great sweet tea. The business celebrates 109 years in Feb with sandwiches for $1.09 at lunch on Tuesdays only in Feb. What a gift! Simple, quality BBQ done well. Quaint, clean location with heaps of parking. Remember, closed on sundays so get your fix during the week. Saturdays run an even trickle so you can get in and out. Enjoy!
