“Smalls is super cute with tasty options. I had my first experience and the staff could stand to be a bit more warm and inviting, as their social presence indicates. I was up for an upbeat and personable experience but that's not what I was met with. I'm huge on brands being consistent and their in-person experience matching their online presence. Product recommendations for a first-time customer should be highly recommend, yet when asked the gentleman appeared disconnected and a bit discombobulated. There wasn't a line, just me. I'll give it a second try in hopes the experience will be different. The portion was spot on and the ingredients are high quality. It's worth giving it another shot.”

“Delicious food. Went for lunch on a Wednesday. Not busy. Service was pleasant and food came out fast. I ordered the 3 taco plate - chose steak, fajita and pork. Each corn tortilla taco is topped with fresh cilantro and onion and lime wedge on the side. The tacos are small so they are perfect. Came with a side of rice and beans. Also had the fresh strawberry lemonade. It was all quality made food.”

“I really love here!! Best tacos I have found in this area.???????????? Here is why 2 Compas Kitchen is so great: First of all, their food is really breathtakingly good. I tried some pastor, steak, and chicken tacos(Actually, I tried more things, I forgot the name of them) el lotte(corn), and churros. All of them were the best, which I’ve had. Also, they have great salsa sauce. There is something special in the sauce. If you taste their sauce, you will fully understand my feelings. I recommend red sauce but it can be a little bit spicy. On top of that, they were very nice and pleasant. Undoubtedly, they will serve the best food whatever you choose. I love their food and hope their business grows???? “I love this place! The tuna salad and chicken salad sandwiches are my absolute favorite. The potato salad and potato soup are delicious as well. The staff is super friendly and talkative most of the time. My sandwich is perfect every time, and the best part is the oil and seasoning salt they put on it. Delicious!! This place is also covered in military decor, and you can tell they lean to the right and have conservative stuff all over the place. Every time I go in they have Fox news on the tv, and they even have books by Ted Cruz and other conservative pundits and politicians on display. It kind of cracks me up every time I go in there because it's the total opposite of my views, but the sandwiches are that good. Plus I love to support a wonderful, friendly, family owned business.”

“We absolutely love this place! Everything is amazing, especially the pot roast which is their special Wednesdays and Saturdays. The biscuits are the best I've had in the area. I usually go for breakfast food and my husband goes for lunch. We are late risers over the weekend so it's perfect for us because usually by the time we make it out of the house no one is serving breakfast but theirs is killer until 3PM! The wait staff is sweet and attentive and the space is clean. Definitely worth a visit. A few restaurants have come and gone in this location but I hope they're here to stay! So good!”

“We finally made it to David's BBQ. It did not disappoint. Quality meats, smoked beautifully served in a different way held our attention. The serve yourself tray buffet style lends to quick service. Fresh fried sides are delivered to your table. Servings are generous so be smart in your ordering if you can't take it with you. A sandwich is VERY filling. I LOVED their sauce! Reminds me of home. Not too spicy, not too sweet. Perfectly complements the wood selection for the smoking. Great sweet tea. The business celebrates 109 years in Feb with sandwiches for $1.09 at lunch on Tuesdays only in Feb. What a gift! Simple, quality BBQ done well. Quaint, clean location with heaps of parking. Remember, closed on sundays so get your fix during the week. Saturdays run an even trickle so you can get in and out. Enjoy!”

“Great food and attentive staff! Went here for breakfast; had to bring the family the next day for them to try. Everyone liked the food! I got the chicken fried steak on the first day and the chicken and waffles the second day - both nicely seasoned and fried crispy. Chicken strips for the chicken and waffles were actually tender - not dry. Place was steady busy while we were there but the staff still attended to us (ie. not ignored) overall, great gem in Arlington for home cooked meals!”
