“This business is only about .25 miles from my own and I am all about supporting new locally owned businesses. This place is neat and clean in appearance and certainly will not disappoint you once you try their fare. It serves a limited menu (they serve breakfast and lunch only) but enough choices to satisfy most any palate. The beans and rice that they serve with the tacos is seasoned just right and quite tasty. The tacos themselves were fairly good size - in fact I was not even hungry for dinner. The owner came out to each table and spoke with the patrons to make sure that there were no problems and that we were enjoying the food. All in all, a very good experience. Thumbs up!”

“We decided on the lunch special which is generous. I had a "spicy" dish. Perhaps asking how spicy ppl want something may be beneficial. I didn't think it was spicy. One can choose white or fried rice as a side. I understand not putting a lot into a fried rice that's a side, but it was very bland and needs at least peas and carrots added. Not that costly. Otherwise, quite good.”

They say call your order in however I have never been able to get through, the line is busy or no one answers. “Been there multiple times, every time it is delicious! I always get the same thing, a chicken salad croissant sandwich. It is probably my favorite chicken salad. I also always get a dessert. “Came in on Easter Sunday 2022 with my Wife and Mother. My Mother and I got the Happy Family plate. And My Wife got Vegetable Fried Rice and Egg Drop Soup. The Happy Family plate was so good! Ithad Shrimp, Pork, Lobster Meat, Baby Carrots etc. with a delicious sauce! My Wife thoroughly enjoyed the Egg Drop Soup! She also said that her Fried Rice was terrific. Our Waitress was very sweet!We will visit again. Edit: I forget to mention that the Restaurant is beautiful inside. It has been upgraded since the last time I was there, when a different owner/business ran the building. It was beautifully decorated and peaceful. It was exceptionally clean!!! We had a great dinner.”

I'm a native Texan, so good Mexican food is very important to me. I wanted to find a place with great bistek tacos in Abilene while I am here, and this is it. I get their 5 taco plate with green sauce, and it is a truly satisfying carnal experience, from first to last. I've also tried their cheese enchiladas, and they are full of happiness and magic as well. Customer service was great. Until now, I have only gone through the drive thru for my food, but in future, I will go inside. I just now saw the pictures of the inside that are posted on google, and it appears to have the kind of ambience I have come to love. Great job Armando's!”

“This is a great local Mexican food place to eat. Their service is always good and the atmosphere is authentic. They have a buffet option but on Sundays the buffet has guacamole on it! “We stopped by while visiting Abilene just recently. The place was awesome and so relaxing. The place was nicely decorated and the staff was very welcoming. They had both outdoor and indoor seating and both very comfortable. We met the owner and loved hearing his story about starting the restaurant. The craft beer they brew was exceptional and the food was equally great. My wife and I will be back next time were in Abilene.
