(March 31, 2019, 4:09 am)This place has been in our vicinity for years, and for whatever reason we have never eaten here. That changed tonight, and so, so happy we gave it a try! Try the Avocado Relleno!! De-lish!!
Our waitress seemed distant at first, but then warmed up to us. Can't wait to go back and try another dish (the cheese enchiladas are supposed to be yummy)! -

(February 11, 2019, 4:29 pm)Great traditional Mexican and most likely the best in Austin if that’s what you are looking for. There are several great Mexican restaurants but not all of them offer a homemade expansive menu with the traditional Mexican comfort food. If that’s what you are looking for head to La Posada. For avocado lovers try the avocado relleno. Get the nacho special appetizer. The menu is big and you can get pretty much any Mexican dish you can think of. Portion sizes are big so go hungry. Oh and don’t expect a trendy setting. This place is traditional, old school, and amazingly good.
