Radix House Coffee Shop

My wife was so excited to take me to Radix because she had a great experience the last time she went. Unfortunately it wasn't a good one when we went. There was no one there but us. The girl working there was on her first day so she couldn't help. So that's understandable. The guy working there basically blew her off when she was trying to remember the drink she got on her previous visit. I got my drink but my wife didn't get anything because the guy didn't help her. She was disappointed but we agreed to come back when others are working.

Great coffee shop with CPD options. Laid back and fun with a cool staff. I go whenever I can.

Great coffee. It's a traditional dark roast flavor which is what I am looking for. Some of the more modern roasts are a little to acidic for my taste. These folks got it just right. Been there 2 times. Coffee was great both times. Had a muffin today which was really good too.

Place is cool, coffee is good and the staff is always nice. Only knock is they charged me $1 per coffee for half and half on top of the coffee price. My total was about 15.50 for 2 coffees, which is really hard to justify. I still enjoy it, and will probably still go occasionally. Just feel like that's like charging for chips and salsa at a Mexican food restaurant....just shouldn't do it.

Edit: Post response since its difficult to communicate outside of the review. I appreciate the offer to refund, but I definitely don't want money back, I chose to go there knowing it was expensive. I am still a fan, I was just pointing out that in my opinion the extra charge isn't logical. It's your business and you can do what you want, It's just hard to justify $2 for a couple splashes of half and half, especially because that makes the regular cold brew more expensive than the fancy cold brew. I was there yesterday, so if the price was supposed to be changed just be aware it hasn't. Again, coffee if great, and I will and do recommend it, just hopefully constructive criticism.
