East Side Pies

Excellent pizza. Love the flavor combinations and freshness of ingredients! Glad to see they have an indoor dining building to be opened soon!

There are not enough stars available to give this place. I could not take pictures either since we scarfed our meatza pizza down so fast!! The crust is thin and cracker-like and so delicious. All the ingredients are fresh and tasty. The employees were helpful and suggested adding roasted onions to our pizza which was an excellent idea. Truly one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time!!

So I’m in town for an event at the convention center. Wanted a good pizza delivered to the hotel room. Spend a good amount of time in Austin but had not had a chance to try East Side yet. So I did tonight.

I don’t always give 5 stars. A really good place gets four. Exceptional service can push a place over the top for me. Fellow on the phone was friendly and helpful. Promised the pie in a 45 minute to an hour timeframe.

Pie arrived perfect in 40 minutes. They knew I was in a room so they even included napkins, paper plates and cheese/crushed pepper. Delivery guy could not have been more friendly.

So the food? I got a pepperoni with some feta for added flavor (and they offer a LOT of options) and, wow, this is an excellent pizza.

Bottom line - it ain’t the cheapest pizza in Austin. But it’s way better than many who charge more. And I will he making a point of visiting the restaurant when I’m back next month. Highly recommended!

Best ???? in town! Whole pies or get em by the slice. You can also buy dough here and take it home to make your own! I always go to the original one on Rosewood because it's close, can't speak for any of the other spots. BYOB too.

Pizza arrived twenty minutes faster than expected! Cute driver was a plus. Tasty thin slices with extra crispy crust. I had the half Homer half Jamaican, complimentary flavors in my opinion.
