Hat Creek Burger Co. on Burnet Road is near The University of Texas at Austin and bustling downtown. Even with all of the businesses around us, we love families and offer a playground for the kids with nearby seating for mom and dad.

    One of my preferred spots for Burgers. The service was very friendly and attentive. The place has a great atmosphere. Similar to a place in Denver I liked.

    Great place for families. The playground isn't really suited for toddlers but our daughter still had a great time. Good food and atmosphere!!

    This is one of the best hamburger joints in Austin. The burgers are expertly grilled with fresh lettuce and tomatoes and you can get wheat buns, real cheese, raw onions, and peppers on request. Sadly, decent mustard is not an option; just ask them to leave it off. The limp, greasy fries are pathetic but you can get very good tater tots if you want. Tuesday night after 5:00 pm the burgers are 1/2 price.

    My kids absolutely favorite burger shop. The folks here are always kind and helpful.

    The playgrounds at most locations keep the kids super busy and the televisions and beer are great for adults.

    Tons of gluten free options, too, which is super rare.

    Also, the Fry Sauce is amazing, but pace yourself!
