    The Ahi tuna appetizer was some of the freshest tuna. I had the lamb chops they were wonderful.

    I would describe the food as Americanized cuisine with a twist. For example, the meatballs reminded me a lot of Christmas cranberry sauce meatball recipes but with a cheese filled center. The "best ever" stuffed shells had chopped jalapenos and was topped with melted monterey jack cheese. We also had the Mediterranean salad and the scallops. Everything was very good and full of flavor. I will say that the salad could have had slightly more dressing.
    Service was also very good. Pricing is slightly high but once you factor in the quality of the food and the atmosphere, it is very fair. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Bee Cave.

    Unique for Lakeway, an upscale joint with great food. 5 stars all around - you definitely want to check them out. Didn't want to but had to deduct 1 star because our service was just... odd. Clearly an aberration (we watched other servers to confirm) so hopefully you won't have our experience.
