    If you haven't been to Fowler's Smokin Soul Food yet you're missing out on some amazing eats. Delicious food in a friendly, clean and spacious restaurant. Open Fri/Sat/Sunday. On 5811 Manor between Wheless and Rogge, plenty of parking in their lot.
    Today we both got the combo plates with tender and moist Brisket, meaty Ribs and juicy beef sausage. Menu varies slightly from Friday to Sunday and it's posted in advance on their website. Check them out.

    Weekends only place currently, and no frills but friendly and sparkling clean. Delicious BBQ, especially the chicken! The green beans were deliciously a bit spicy. Loved the coconut cake! My dining companion would have liked the food to be warmer, especially noticeable with the French fries. They offered regular BBQ sides, with some added choices.
    This is a good place. I enjoyed the brisket, and took a double order of the BBQ Chicken home. Yum! We didn't try the fried catfish this time. Give them a visit, they're in close-in East Austin on Manor Rd, a bit North of Rogge Ln.

    Really great owners and staff. Swung by and picked up Chicken and dumplings, mac and cheese, yams, and bread pudding. Got home and dug in... so good!

    So pumped to have something so good in my neighborhood.

    Everyone there was super nice and I am gonna be a regular!
