Citizen Eatery - Vegan food, Paleo food, Gluten free food

My meal at this spot came battered and fried, sans products involving fair creatures who died. Perhaps I should have ordered some salad or curry...but my greasy pile sure was consumed in a hurry. The venue was pleasing, with good vibes galore, and not once did the wait staff leave us ignored. I'll come back another day some moons from
now, as I prefer my food without chicken or cow.

The food, the atmosphere, the service, all wonderful! Usually when I eat vegan food I'm hungry an hour later, but I had the Citizen Chilli and it was very filling. The service is also amazing and they are so accommodating to different needs. I highly recommend Citizen Eatery for anyone who wants a genuine vegan experience that wont break your bank.

This is the best vegan restaurant in Austin. They have great entrees, drinks, appetizers. Good central location and fun atmosphere. Love their homemade burger and brunch! Sooo good!

Edit: One of the newer vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Austin which offers a fantastic brunch menu. Originally I mentioned that they had some kinks to work out with the food choices and they have done just that. The manager/owner is caring, engaging and thoughtful in her menu selections to match the market. Food is wholesome and delicious!

Such amazing food. I haven't had a meal this good in a while. I 100% recommend the pecan pesto beets and the citizen fries. Their homemade ketchup has just the right amount of vinegar. I normally hate ketchup, but I ended up buying a mason jar of both their ketchup and pecan pesto sauce.
The service was wonderful as well. Extremely friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and prompt. Daniela was amazing.
Such a great experience overall. Being a server, I give them a 100% on everything. I only wish that they were located in Maryland, where I'm from.
