Not necessarily hidden but certainly is a gem. We go for queso and breakfast tacos and are always very happy with the results. The service at the counter is great and the food is even better.

I like this place a lot and I'm reluctant to share my experiences for fear that it'll become over crowded like so many of my other local faves. However, this place is fantastic and they deserve success.

If you like tacos and are near Brodie/Sunset Valley give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

We first visited their food truck when it was on South 1st and we really enjoyed the food there. I then googled it and the restaurant popped up, so happy they decided to build the restaurant and it is closer to our home. This is probably one of the best Mexican restaurant in Austin. The flavor on a lot of these plates are ridiculously good. For one, the enchilada plate has a real good gravy. Really, anything you order will be good.

It was our first time there and our overall experience was okay. The restaurant is small with a few booths and quite a few tables.

The dishes that we ordered were a bit bland and the flavor of the chicken was of the typical Tex Mex flavors that most places offer here in Austin. The salsa was too spicy for my liking and I love salsa, so I was a bit bummed. They do offer a kid's menu though, which I was pleased about. The dish that we ordered our little one offered double beans (in the dish and as a side), which wasn't necessary.

Overall, it was clean and the staff seemed friendly. They weren't busy and our food came out in a timely manner. Music for ambiance would have been nice along with varying temperatures of salsa.

Best tacos I ever had. I, too, thought the menu was a little pricey when I ordered, but when I got my plate I realized that the tacos were stuffed with meat--way more than other places. I'm a big guy and I was stuffed after 3 tacos and they were delicious. I like Torchy's and this place blows them away. I highly recommend. Very nice service, also. You order at the counter, but they bring you your food. Guy's name was Adam. Nice guy.

Best Mexican restaurant we have ever been to! #Vegetarian tortillas, and best enchiladas we have ever had. Amazing flavor, you just don’t typically get food this good eating out. Such friendly service and a happy space. Our new go-to spot in South Austin.
