This is the best restaurant in Texas. Fight me.

Bartender and drink selections were flawless...entertaining and knowledgeable (ye be warned if you have no stomach for puns). My wife and I enjoyed the chefs table experience as a warm up to a reservation we have next month at a 3 Star Michelin experience we were looking forward to, and Chef's J and A delivered so far beyond expectations that I won't attempt to define it here. Eat everything, without question, and take yourself on a journey of Asian and Texas cuisine that you will never forget. Just don't call it fusion...that word is nothing if not inaccurate and inadequate. The dining room itself is, as was described, "a stream of consciousness" that deserves to be appreciated in and of itself. A perfect experience. Special call out for Sake fans, though not required at all to still have a top shelf (hehe) experience.

    Thank you Chefs...thank you.

My review is more of a 4 1/2 but they don't have that option. We started with the butternut squash soup and it was perfect because it was so cold out. Then we had the brisket egg rolls. This is why I don't think it is 5star. You got of them for 12.00. I would think 8.00 is fair. We had a special Thai main lobster salad, asparagus tempura. We also had the triple burger without the bun. The food was good. Will for sure be back.

Really enjoyed my meal. Went for a friend's birthday and it was a good time!

    Noteworthy foods...
    The WONTONS wooooowwww
    Smoked duck bisque
The "sake to me" cocktail was really REALLY good.
Chicken and waffles was good, but small.
In fact, most of the entrees could have been a bit bigger for the price, but the flavors made up for it. Would go back

Super quirky, punny, yet delicious. Fair pricing, and you can tell that the chefs (who visited our table) were passionate and knowledgeable about their food. Highly recommend for trying something different. The clams and the resulting broth was exquisite!

Loved the decor, the staff-- the FOOD! It was different and delicious! Yes, kinda spendy but worth it for the experience, IMHO. Read the other reviews here and the negativity in one in particular, I find extremely unwarranted. Check those profiles and you will see those reviewers have nothing positive to say about ANY establishment. Our waiter was SUPER nice and cheerful. It helped to make our group time all the more enjoyable! Can't wait to come back!
