Wonderful experience EVERY time! From the wait staff to the food taste and quality, I've never been disappointed in any aspect. I particularly love their Sunday brunch and weekday happy hour on both food and drink. Great place for dates and special occasions.
Tried and enjoyed the Sunday brunch. I'd been warned to workout a couple of days before, to drink a lot of water (stomach stretching exercise), and eat lightly Saturday night; but I was only able to survive 3 rounds (plus a small plate of pastries). Sometimes the line got long, which I found helped with pacing, and hot refills seemed timed to my advantage. I tried not to overdo the comfortable favorites, which left room on the plate for less familiar fare. I didn't know I liked tomato basil pie, but now brunches won't be complete without it.
The brunch buffet selection on Sundays is amazing! Love the tomato basil pie. Can't beat $4 bloody marys, too. The happy hour specials during the week are a good deal. Highly recommend getting the Cucumber Jalapeno margarita. One of my favorite food options in the area.
This place was fantastic! Original and unique choices. I had the Sloppy Jack; ground short ribs in sweet barbecue sauce with onion straws on a fresh bun with a generous portion of fries (I chose sweet potato) and both were outstanding. My wife had the chorizo stuffed pork tenderloin and she said it was excellent. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Austin.
Service was great! Food was great! Presentation was great! I have never had a bad experience here. If you are with a group larger than 4, I would HIGHLY recommend making a reservation.
