(April 19, 2019, 4:47 pm)The food is OK. Monday is $1 tacos...I don't get Taco Monday. Why not Taco Tuesday...I want alliteration. You can't really mess up a taco (unless you have Taco Monday...sorry for the rant) ground beef or shredded chicken, crunchy or soft and order a drink. We prefer a frozen, no salt. But was is El Paso style Mexican food? More interior Mexican rather than Tex-Mex?

(April 18, 2019, 2:43 am)We eat there often on Wednesday when fajitas are $14.99 for two people. The food and service is always excellent, and the Texican Martini delicious ($5 special on Wed). Tonight, server Valerie was fantastic, checking on us often. I highly recommend Texican Cafe!

(March 13, 2019, 9:49 pm)One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Austin. I usually don’t miss their giant frozen margaritas, and sizzling beef fajitas, which are my top choices. Forgot to mention that their food portion is big make sure to either be super hungry or have a buddy to share your food with. I highly recommend them.

(March 6, 2019, 9:16 pm)What a pleasant surprise. I was going to the BBQ joint next door and gave this place a whirl. Great salsa, good atmosphere, friendly service. Got their soft taco lunch special and was really impressed with the flavor. Bonus was it's gluten free and only $8. Highly recommended.
