Great facility, great staff. Fantastic company
Great place to keep your boat . I highly recommend
I keep my sailboat in on its trailer there and have quick access to the boat ramp. Staff is very helpful. After a heavy storm last year, they did a good job repairing the docks. On site restaurant is one of the best by access by boat on the lake and the prices are reasonable. The restrooms are kept clean. Before I started using this yacht club, I looked at many others and this one seemed the best maintained.
I came for the weekend and brought my 30' offshore boar. Sail & Ski was able to rent me a slip for the weekend at a decent rate. I was able to store my trailer in their farted lost and leave my boat in a covered slip. The place even has a really good restaurant so if you want lunch or feel like a meal after being on the water all day you're covered. Im from Houston and brought the boat if for a holiday get away and now that I've stumbled across this place I'll definitely be coming back.
Having ridden out some really bad storms at the marina in the last few years, I can firmly state that the staff at Sail & Ski maintain a wonderful blend of professionalism and down home Texas friendliness! When bad weather hits, I have personally seen the staff on the docks at all hours of the day and night doing what they can to maintain the safety and security of both people and vessels at the marina. Prior to the 7/23/2017 storm, when I recorded a 60.5kt wind at the top of my mast, I saw the staff on the docks adding lines to any vessel that looked like it needed more/better dock lines. This is the level of service that I want in a marina that I keep my vessel at.
