Stopped by for the first time this last week. AMAZING!
Gumbo is fantastic and the fried fish is perfectly cooked. Perfect potato salad too. I'm sure everything else is good, that's just what we ordered.
Ann knows how to cook!
Can't wait to go back!
Very tasty and everyone is very friendly.
I got the fried catfish with red beans and rice and gumbo. Catfish is fried to order and was super flaky and fresh. The sides had good portion sizes and were very good as well.
100% recommend! This is true, homegrown food and the best Creole you can find in the entirety of Austin. The trailer is also owned by the ever talented Ann Wolfe!
The family is wonderful, and I can’t help but smiling every time we interact!
(also, I very much recommend the catfish and gumbo!)
The catfish is always fresh hot and delicious. The gumbo and red beans and rice compliment the catfish. Price point is great too. Check out this little gem located right by the Texan Mart on Amherst.
