Best Indian in town. Definitely, not lie. Main entrees are awesome. I can not tell same for sides and appetizers. Rice is bad, it could be better. I tried falafel and it was ok! The huge problem is the size. I paid $14 + tax for the image. C’mon guys, are you kidding? I don’t care how much I pay but I care how much I get.

Amazing food. Paneer and chicken dish were amazing. Finally found a good Indian To-go place.

I've never been to India so I can't tell you about it's authenticity. What I do know is that this food is absolutely delicious. The Indian food in north central Austin is lackluster. This past Tuesday night I decided to try something from Kitchen Mix on Burnet. (Such a cool concept to have so many restaurants serving takeout from the same location.) I ordered the dinner for two combo. You could get an appetizer or dessert with one meat entree and one veg side. Plus two pieces of naan. Basically you are getting the naan for free. Nice deal for $29.95.

I ordered the Goa Shrimp Curry, as it was listed as one of their popular dishes. I also ordered the Potatoes with Peppers, and Rice Pudding for dessert. The Goa Shrimp curry was so flavorful, with large shrimp and were definitely at least a medium on the spicy, maybe a little more. The Potatoes and peppers were good, but paled in comparison to the curry. I should have salted them. The rice pudding was full of cream and cardamom flavor and a generous amount of whole pistachios sprinkled on top. (I didn't try the naan due to GF issues. Plus I was so full.)

I was so pleased with my order. I ate my leftovers from it today for dinner with glee. 100% will order from them again. Great job Bombay Walla. The care you take with food really shows. Thank you for coming to my neighborhood and making it so much better. Next time I'd like to order a tea latte or a lassi too. YUM!!!!!!
