Finally stopped by this location, the atmosphere is great. The server was nice and prompt. As for the portion of the lunch menu, it is on the lesser side. $12.95 for the lunch portion, $14.95 for the entree. What I have seen at the Highland location, entree is enough for two people. If this is the lunch portion at the Burnet Rd. Location. Maybe the price should be around $10.95. But of course this is my opinion, and this is what I noticed. The food was excellent in taste.

A go-to place when taking the office to lunch! We love China Family! Large portions, fresh and hot, quick/efficient service, affordable pricing, seating, parking, this restaurant has it all! Usually there is one host, who is also the server when I bring in 10-15 people with no reservation... We are in/out of there within 45-50min. Take home boxes and silverware are up for grabs to the customers, which I like because if the host is busy serving, I have the ability to keep momentum moving with my large group. We have never had any issues. Food is brought out at the same time with 12 people seated. They are flexible, welcoming and serve the tastiest food!

We ordered to-go food that might difference from dine in. The Fish Fillet in Chili Oil have a lot of fish fillet, spicy and flavorful. The Cumin Lamb is ok but just not cook in the way that I expected.

We went to China Family for the very first time today and it has become one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in ATX.

The restaurant is located on a big plaza with plenty of parking spaces. The interior is clean and neat and they have some cute Chinese decorations on the wall and ceilings.

We were a party of 8 and there's another larger party size right next to us (about 20 ppl). It got quite busy the whole night, with 80-85% occupancy and many delivery and takeouts. However, there was only one server but she somehow was able to manage all the tables well. Obviously there were wait times here and there when we tried to get her but nothing too bad.

Food-wise pretty on point. Their pork intestines were surprisingly fresh and yummm. I also really liked their fish and friend chicken. Will definitely keep coming back.

One of the best authentic Chinese food in town. Everything we’ve ordered has been delicious. Portions are very large - perfect for sharing and prices are reasonable.
Egg drop soup, hot & sour - my favorite, lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, sautéed green beans, pepper steak just to name a few of our favorites.
Everything is full of flavor and the ambiance is nice as well.
