Some of the best tacos in ATX or anywhere. The wait is a little long, but once you take your first bite, you’ll forget all about it. Get there early; they sell out usually before 8pm. Also, Bring your own Cerveza. They don’t serve it, and NO taco can be consumed without one.
OK, peeps... This is a serious taco joint in Austin. I would put it in the pantheon of La Tunita 512 (see my review elsewhere)! We waited the entire week to get their Al Pastor & the buggers did not disappoint! Perfect seared and a little slice of pineapple just gave it a bit of sweetness and acidity. However, the brisket tacos were THE BOMB! Just perfect - richness, with the usual suspects - onion and cilantro, a bit of lime juice and their salsa.... Oh, my, my.... Their tortillas are legit - the thinnest we have ever seen and just enough crunchiness for the texture... & guess what - whaaaaat??? price point - $ 2 a taco! Insane. Cute little food truck area - BTW...
Oh my goodness. I could eat one million of these tacos. They are delicious. Recommend the beef tacos and the mushroom quesadilla. Get enough for later, you'll want it.
Pretty good tacos. We got their two most popular ones (I can't remember the name). It was a good juicy street taco. Sadly, I didn't get to try the beans, which I regret because I heard they're the best. I will have to make up for that next time!
Food was delicious! Their tripitas special was delicious. The salsas they give you have a nice smoke flavor to them and enough kick to enjoy without it being too much. Highly recommend.
