    I absolutely LOVE this place!
The food is always fresh, tasty, and much higher quality than the menu price suggests.

A real jewel in this sold out sad sack of a town that is Austin today. My breakfast was spot on. Seating was clean and safe. The staff is excellent. Perfect spot to enjoy the morning without hassle.

Julio's Cafe is an older establishment in Austin serving common Mexican fares. They are known for their chicken tacos and I can attest to it being good. Service is prompt and staff are friendly.

The only con is that this is a CASH Only establishment.

Food was delicious but even better was the service. The waiter was very attentive and she interacted very well with my boys. (Kids love to talk) we sat outside. Very comfortable and the margarita was delishhhh!

I love this place for what it is, and you will too if you go in with reasonable expectations.

    What it isn't:

The most unique food you've ever seen

    A wide, ever-changing menu

    A trendy environment

    A traditional sit-down restaurant

    What it is:

    Good and flavorful Tex-Mex food

A menu that focuses primarily on their rotisserie chicken (although a few other options are available, their chicken is the best!

A lovely neighborhood restaurant environment with quick and friendly service

You pay at the counter for your food and drink. You are given your drink after paying and later a kitchen staff member delivers your food to your table very quickly. You don't get a "waiter/waitress", but really don't need one in this kind of set-up.

P.S. This is a cash only spot. Bring cash, or you'll pay ATM fees from the ATM outside.
