Lin Asian Bar + Dim Sum

I've been loving this chef's cuisine since they were part of Wu Chow (still a great restaurant too!).

If you are coming here for the first time, you MUST try the steamed pork dumplings! They are simply the best I've ever had anywhere! And I don't even normally eat pork, but I make an exception for this... There is a seafood dumpling that isn't as good and is just one giant dumpling.

Lin's is a small venue and very popular to those in the know, so reservations are strongly encouraged. I also do NOT recommend parties of more than FOUR (4), as again, small venue.

Their house drinks are adventurous and I recommend trying one before falling back on your own signature drink. Bartenders are good enough to make crafted cocktails, on or off menu.

Dim sum is TOP NOTCH. Incredible. Make sure to order the rice asap as they tend to run out. We ordered double of every dish. Amazing amazing amazing. Funny i have no pictures of the foods as everything was gone in seconds! Drinks are delicious.

Exceptional! This is one of my favorite spots in Austin. The food is authentic, fresh, handmade, and so delicious! Great service too. Chef Lin is really nice to talk to as well! Highly recommend sitting at the Chef’s table/bar for Dim Sum on Sundays if you can. It’s fun to see the kitchen staff hand crafting every single menu item right there in front of you, especially the dumplings!

Great food and great atmosphere for small groups.

I've been twice in the last ten days! The first time was with a friend for lunch and we were hooked! The Shanghai Mule cocktail is probably my favorite so far on the menu.

I went with 4 other friends last night and it was incredible! We began by ordering several different Dim Sum. Each arrived to the table as soon as they were ready. Our server timed bigger orders (Duck, Lamb, etc) to make sure they came out after we finished most of the Dim Sum.

The honey cheesecake was fantastic! Just the right amount of sweetness.

I definitely recommend this place!
