Local Foods -- ATX Pop-up

Local foods is by FAR. My favorite place to eat in HTX. I could literally eat it every single day so imagine my excitement when I found out it is in ATX NOW!!! Garden Sammie as a salad is my absolute favorite hands down. I’ll switch it up and do garden Sammie sandwhich here and there and I love it just as much!! Don’t walk, R U N

Love this place! The salads and sandwiches are delicious. The crunchy chicken is my favorite. Also, I love the sides. Very healthy choices. My entire family is excited for Local to open in its new downtown location.

Ordered from Local Foods here in Austin many times waiting for the restaurant to open downtown. LOVE this place!!! Tend to like healthier stuff so duh, sandwiches and salads fit the bill but the FLAVORS and TEXTURES are amazing so it doesn’t taste or look on the healthy side of things. There are a ton of goodies in the salads, way more than the 2-3 things I toss into my homemade salad. Salads are huge too! So the pic is of the Asia Chicken salad…the texture of the cabbage and kale!! And those cashews are toasted (yuuuum!!!). Highly recommend. PS don’t forget the chocolate chip cookie or gluten free brownie. OMG, must haves esp after a salad.

Super yummy! I had the veggie and it was so good. The bread was yummy and the combination of flavors was spot on with a tad kick of spice. The homemade chips and kale salad on the side were perfect too. Definitely recommend!

I was recommended this place by all the guys at Honest Barber right up the street. After I ate here and raved about the food we started ordering for the office and now all my co workers crave this for lunch.

The thing that sets the food here apart from the rest of the pack is that everything is made with care and freshness in mind. This applies to EVERTYTHING on the menu down to the side cups of fruit salad. Everything tastes fresh and delicious, you cannot go wrong with whatever you order.
