They are on the Holy Grail of ATX taco spots. The Knead God family headed out for its 20th ATX visit and this place blew us away. The birria grilled cheese and birria ramen are a 10 out of 10

The birria tacos here are simply incredible, and I find myself craving them all the time. The meat is so tender and cooked to perfection in a savory broth, and the corn tortillas are fresh and crispy. I’ve tried the birria taco with consome, queso taco, and the mulitas. The menu is short and sweet; it also features birria ramen and a birria grilled cheese sandwich, both of which are on my list to try next! This place never disappoints in all the times I’ve visited; please check it out the next time you’re getting tacos!

OMG! Absolutely delicious. I'm going tomorrow...i'll be South. Deliciousness. You have to try...I would wait in the scorching sun for these tacos.

BEST BIRRIA IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! I’m telling you this place is the absolute truth- you have to go and try it for yourself and then thank me later! Enjoy this Austin gem- you will not be sorry! So so so delicious! I can’t wait to go back. Be sure to order the queso birria tacos, the grilled cheese with birria, and the consome with meat- my goodness - so so delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try the ramen! But the tacos are the best start! Again go try it out and thank me later!

By FAR the best birria I’ve had. Between San Antonio, the rest of Austin, and even Arkansas - Palo Seco’s robust flavor is unmatched. Quesabirria + Grilled cheese birria combo with consome every time!
