Polvo's Mexican Restaurant

Good food but really weak drinks. Service was good but there can be a wait if you get there late. Decent parking but it fills up fast. Tried the margarita shrimp and it wasn't anything like I was expecting but turned out really good. The house margaritas on the other hand had a decent flavor but I'd be shocked if they contained any alcohol.

Excellent Mexican food... Not Tex-Mex! Don't be turned off by the salsa bar. Yeah, chips are free but salsa bar costs a few bucks, and it is well worth it! All are freshly made in house and delicious. Warning: the roasted pepper salsa is so good you'll eat so many chips you'll be too full to order food.

My husband and I ate there last night and at first our service was rocky. The food was great but we sat outside and a crazy storm blew in and we didn’t receive service outside after it started raining. I went in and spoke to the manager about our experience and he made things right. We will definitely return. It speaks volumes when you can turn a guests experience around. Kudos to the MOD last night!

Accidentally ended up at this restaurant. The food is delicious! The chips are so good I could’ve just ate those all day. The salsa bar was great there is salsa for the hardcore spicy lovers or the ones who don’t like too much spice. The prices are doable but slightly more expensive than a typical Mexican restaurant but I will be back anyway :)
