Rosedale Kitchen and Bar

Great wine selection, excellent cocktails and beautiful patio with lush garden.

Since some neighbors recommended Rosedale Kitchen and Bar, I have ordered takeout from RKB for my family a few times now over the summer. I'm looking forward to trying dine-in services in the future. This is quickly becoming a new, local staple in our rotation.

Past orders have included: caesar salad, pimento cheese, roasted salmon, shrimp & grits, English peas, and crispy halloumi. Each dish was delicious and shareable, and you can tell the food is fresh. We appreciate their flavors, quality and reasonable portion sizes.

I just finished a meal at Rosedale kitchen and bar. I was hosting a team from DC, NY, and Maine. We had fish lovers, vegans, meat lovers and foodies galore. Not one morsel on any plate was left. The dishes were true, pure, fresh and perfectly accompanied. The meat was spectacular. The fish outstanding, and the vegan choices were to die for. The chef obviously knows her way around various cultures and cooking styles. Best of all she uses all the best ingredients with a Texas flare when appropriate. Hats off the the entire waitstaff for exceptional service. And I can’t wait to go back and enjoy more of chef @Janelle Reynolds creations. Having worked at a 5 star restaurant for many years and experienced many rated places, this is a must on your Austin dining list.

Neighborhood gem! We have visited for six meals and are always delighted. Expect a well thought out dish full of flavor and texture. Desserts are a must, the pastry chef is on point. Either lunch or dinner, both have been better than our expectation. Service is better than most fine dining restaurants in Austin, because of this Rosedale is now one of our “go to’s”!

I went here for lunch today with a co-worker. I had the pork belly sandwich with the side salad (with lemon dill vinaigrette), all of which was quite good. Tasty, filling sandwich. And the simple side salad was surprisingly good too. The dill in the dressing was a big plus. My coworker had the Caesar salad with salmon, and she enjoyed it. Looked big. The restaurant is also pretty cute. The only issue is parking. You have to know that there's a garage right near it, and the restaurant will validate your ticket. So the parking is free... It's just not obvious what you're supposed to do.
