Stiles Switch BBQ

From outside, I would have never guessed that this place was such a hidden gem. The exterior decorations & interiors were not the most luxurious or ostentatious, but what this venue of my Friday’s late brunch choice had successfully delivered was the outstanding food and hipster/retro Southern vibe. Fully staffed and order was accurate, hot and pleasantly serviced with finesse.

Incredible. Simply incredible. Our family from Kansas City, was visiting Austin for the week, and we came across this place from a quick Google search. After reading the high praise in the reviews, we decided we had to try it out. As a Kansas Citian, and somewhat of a BBQ connoisseur, I can say that this place exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid BBQ option. Staff was incredible and friendly. Cost is up there, but most definitely worth it. Will definitely be back if we find ourselves in Austin again.

A good BBQ spot near Highland Park. They have great brisket. The turkey is also pretty nice. For sides I’d recommend the fries, beans, and potato salad. And the pickles are incredible! Unfortunately I wasn’t as impressed by the mac-n-cheese or the corn casserole. Both were served a little colder than I’d prefer. Not the best BBQ in Austin; however, the service here is outstanding. They also play some sweet and eclectic tunes.

Been here many times and it always top notch. Enjoy their Club Sandwich today for the first time. Turkey, brisket, lettuce, tomato and cheddar on a toasted roll. Top notch! Plus their sauce is outstanding. You can’t go wrong here. First time venturing into the sandwich menu. Good stuff and friendly staff.

Outstanding BBQ. Definitely do not judge this book by its cover. Not much to look at from outside but oh my the inside. Great flavorful BBQ tangy sauce with a kick. Seasoned French fries are outstanding. The brisket was meaty and tender. Beer and soft drinks are available. One of these opened near us and has been standing room only ever since. Give it a try you'll like it.
