VERDAD True Modern Mexican

We had a wonderful experience at Verdad! The food was amazing, the ambiance was beautiful, and the staff were incredible. Bella gave excellent service. EJ and Trevor, along with other management run a very professional and efficient staff. I highly recommend checking this gem of a restaurant out!

First I want to say that Perrys is my favorite steak and drink restaurant. Verdad is owned by Perrys. Verdad has only been open 3 days so I understand the learning curve. I ordered the queso, and the surf and turf fajitas. The queso was melted cheese in a bowl with sausage served with chips and tortillas. I could of had that on a pizza. Queso to me is supposed to be able to dip with chips and not pull cheese apart. The beef was tender and lobster flavor were good but they only gave me 3 tortillas for the amount of meat I had. Service was good and drinks were similar to other restaurants. Seems that they are more concerned with presentation than taste of food.

Came in to try out the new place and sat at the bar. Sydney and Grace were great bartenders and were very attentive and knowledgeable about the drink menu. Got the Double Dos cocktail and Queso Fundido for an app and loved it. Will definitely be going back again soon!

Food was 5*. Service was 5*. Rob and Roland killed it on the bar.

10/10 will come again
