This is a fine example of traditional Texas barbecue. Skip that trendy joint next door and get food that's good for your soul. The brisket, chopped beef and pulled pork are all very good and jalapeno Mac n cheese should be a standard everywhere.

We held the 50th anniversary celebrations for my in-laws here . I am pleased with how Schmidt handle the event. They arranged enough seats for 50 adults & 12 kids and kept the food buffet lines very orderly. I feel the per head pricing is very reasonable for TX BBQ options compared to other events restaurant in the area. I would highly recommend them for on-site small events!

$20 2 meat plate with drink 2 sides. May not look like much to the naked eye but this plate puts your belly into a food coma. If thats not enough for you they have a 3 meat plate but I can tell you if you finish it I want to see you on man vs food. Clean Clean Clean place no long lines here just great BBQ. Glad they changed the fountain drinks to mainstream pops. Now you can get Big Red on tap to enjoy with your BBQ.
