“I think every time I place an order, something happens, they didn't have the tea they charged me for, they tried giving me a single slice of pie when I specifically asked for a whole frozen pie, we've gotten pretty a shabby looking cobbler in one container and a beautiful fully loaded with fruit cobbler in the other (same exact berry cobbler) they've made mistakes with my credit card, told me they had things on the phone while placing my order only to be told after I arrive that it's been sold to someone else (rather than calling me back as soon as they notice this) this last time they didn't have lids that fit the tea jugs. We like the food, when we can get what we order... it's just occasionally a bit difficult. I understand they are busy quite often, so I don't complain to them about this, just be aware you might have to wait and there might be issues. I still give them a $ tip when I pick my food up at the window.”

“Stopped by around 4pm on a Thursday. Ordered 2 Cajun catfish poboys and a shrimp one. Waited maybe 15+ min. All 3 came with fries and were fried to perfection! Catfish was tender and shrimp (large ones!) was not at all over cooked. Lightly Cajun spiced - not a heavy kick, so ask for more spice if you need to. Fries were also excellent (the thick wavy kind). Surprising amount of lettuce/tomato/pickles on the poboys. Buns were fresh. Cashier was very nice and said it was her first day there. $8 per sandwich, but excellent seafood, so well worth it!”

“Z's was DELICIOUS! Very rarely do you stop on the side of the road and find the Best place to eat in a town, Z's is undoubtedly such. They have an eclectic menu with a wonderful chef to cook it all up, and although I haven't tried everything, I'd say it's all pretty darn good. They have deer blinds for sale out back, which is always cool, and a wonderful little staple of East TX. There's a cigar section of Z's as well, and he knows his stuff! Coolest place I've happened to stumble upon in a long while, wholeheartedly suggest trying it out!”
