“Went here for the first time today with my wife. I ordered a traditional with salt and cheese then waited as it was made fresh to order. The woman running the truck was very nice and polite! Now let's get to the pretzel. First impression is that it is BIG, much larger than a Target pretzel. I asked for extra salt and she did not disappoint. The crust of the pretzel has a good crunch to it and the inside is nice and doughy. Tried it with the cheese and loved it. My only gripe would be that I like more butter on my pretzels, but next time I'll just ask for extra and I'm sure it'll be perfect. Great pretzel, can't wait to try their pepperoni sandwich next.”

And the pulled pork… everyone knows pulled pork is bland and usually dry if not doused in BBQ sauce, right? Not true here. It was moist and tender and had a lot of flavor, so it is a great option on a keto diet. I'll be coming back here every time I come through the area.”

“I thought my sister cooked the best brisket one could hope for but his gentleman nails it and is the best. He also has pull pork, smoked chicken and sausage. He's across from Walgreens on the hill and it is definitely causal dining. He serves out if a train car, a caboose I believe, and has a picnic table you can eat at or sit while you wait for your order. I try and go there at least once a month! Next time I go by I will try to remember and post a picture.”

“After touring SHSU we wanted Mexican food for a late lunch. We like to try different places and this promised El Salvadoran/Mexican food. Sort of a blend, I guess. It is a little out of sight coming from Sam, but not hard to find. We were seated promptly and even at 2:00 it was half-full. Our waitress was very nice and worked hard the whole time. It is not fancy inside but is clean and not greasy. The food was very good and the prices were very reasonable. For our family of 4 we paid just under $49 for 4 entrees and drinks. We did not get an appetizer. I would gladly eat there again.”
