The Oaks Kitchen and Bar

This dining experience was a mixed one. The service was very slow and seemed overwhelmed. Food took a long time to get. The chicken strips were great, burger pasta and sandwich were tasty as well. The lemon chicken came out not completely cooked though. The drinks were good but took a long time to come out. I know this a new establishment and they will get all the timing down.

This is our first time to The Oaks at Cane Island and we definitely will be returning!!
My husband and I shared the Spinach Artichoke Dip with Chips and the Katy Quinoa Salad as an appetizer. Both were delicious!!! The salad is a good size for 1 person if that’s your main course.
For our main course I got the grilled salmon, roasted sweet potato, and garlic butter broccoli and my husband got the Shrimp Tacos and it came with a side of grilled corn. We will be ordering his again!!
We arrived at 4:00pm on a Thursday and we were the only ones at the restaurant besides a couple people at the bar. We sat outside in the patio to eat, beautiful weather and view!! Others started arriving around 5:00.
The food came out hot and fast.
We met the restaurant manager, Adam, a great guy who seems to really know the restaurant business. Our waitress Bre’Annah is a doll. She always made sure our drinks were full, and we had everything we needed.
We are so happy to have this restaurant in our neighborhood, we will be visiting it least once a week!!! Check it out, you’ll really like it!!

Excellent!! We eat out quite a bit and this is a good one. Met Adam today and his attitude is great and focused on good food and the customer. I especially liked that he’s offering items I don’t normally try. The shrimp tacos were amazing. The artichoke dip was excellent and the Katy Quinoa Salad was a really nice summer touch. We came at 4pm, so I can’t vouch for the regular wait times, but at 4pm there was no delay. Try the patio, it’s nice and breezy.

Great food and atmosphere! I had the Oaks Burger on a pretzel roll bun and garden salad. For dessert, we split the apple pie egg rolls. To die for! The service was exceptional and we will definitely be going back!

We stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed this new restaurant in Cane Island for lunch. I had the Avocado Salad with grilled chicken which was very tasty. My wife had the Black Bean Burger age thought it needed something like some cheese. My son had the chicken and waffles and said the chicken was fried really well. With three meals, an appetizer and a dessert we paid about $70. Good place and I would definitely go back.
