“Breakfast was very good! Friendly service with a small town attitude. We'll stop again sometime soon. We stopped again this morning. It has changed managers. Food is still great. Service was a little slow but that is probably because of the change in management. The first thing we smelled as we come through the door was cigarettes. Most likely won't be back. “7/20/22 well goodbye “the spot”. We have stopped here for several years but after today, never again! Why in the world would you change the bun of the hamburger? The bun was what put it over the top. Now it’s just an ordinary bun. The business is for sale, so maybe the next owner will bring the fabulous bun back. We have to find a new eating place while passing through.👎🏻☹️ Awww, just finished my burger from the spot.! 😊 For a few years we have stopped here from OKC to Colorado and also on our way back home. The hamburger meat is fresh (never frozen) and that bun…..OMG! We have decided to get the double meat burger, it’s the right ratio bun to meat and veggies. It’s HUGE! Soo flipping good! The fries are good, as well! Too bad we only stop here a couple of times a years…but then again it might be a good thing! If you don’t stop, you are seriously missing out on a fabulous burger!”

“We stopped here on the way home from New Mexico to Oklahoma because it was one of the only places open for miles. We were very pleasantly surprised! The food was fantastic and service was great. I had street tacos, my husband had a barbacoa burrito, and the kids had chicken fettuccine alfredo. They were all excellent, and the portions were huge! Prices were reasonable as well. Would definitely go back if we are ever in the area!”

“This place is so cool! Local restaurant owner opened a small sandwich and ice cream shop inside the restored gas station/diner right on Route 66. It’s small and gets busy on Saturday. They also only serve lunch until 2pm. Then serve ice cream and dessert until 4pm. Next door is a visitor center and gift shop with lots of Route 66 trinkets. Service was a little slow the day we visited but the atmosphere makes up for it.”

“This, as I like to call, “hole in the wall” restaurant is a glorious eat! The entire staff that I came across was very down to earth, delightful and energetic. They suggested what to eat and their choices were spot on. The country fried steak was one of, if not, THE best I have ever ate. After driving from a hefty distance, this restaurant “hit the spot”. It is positioned right off the interstate for east access. 5/5, and definitely commend the entire staff. Again, it is a must stop if you’re traveling along I-40.”

“We stopped here on the last night of our trip. This was our 2nd visit to Rusty's. On 1st visit 6 months ago, we had amazing burgers so we knew we had to stop again. Had pizza this time. Supreme was loaded with toppings and thin crust was perfect! Delicious!! Staff was as wonderful as they were on our 1st visit. This place is a great find in a small town. We love them!”

“This restaurant just opened recently and I had to stop by and try it out, Plenty of parking for my truck and the dining area/restrooms are very clean and modern.The owner and staff were polite and very helpful. The food was delicious, fresh and at a fair price. I’ve been back twice already and plan to stop by again on my next trip!”
