Lin's Cafe II Asian Cuisine

We came here for the first time on September 28th and had dinner. The food was really very good. Very flavorful and the way everything was arranged on the plate was impressive. Usually places just slap the food on the plate, but not here. They obviously take pride in their food. The staff was very friendly too. We will most definitely come here over and over.

First time at this new(er) location. Looked nice from the outside and the pics but was a little sparse...very lightly decorated, not much atmosphere - maybe they're not done setting it up? It didn't feel warm and inviting after going inside but the food and service was great. I get the impression it's geared to take-out/delivery.

They have deep fried pot stickers which was different. My kids loved the Lo Mein combo and the Sesame Chicken. The broth in the Vegetable Soup was great. Cashew Chicken and Fried Rice with Chicken was good.

Portions were large (dinner menu). $75 for a family of four. Not surprising price especially given the big servings.

Service was good.

Lin's is a great addition to the area. As others have said. The restaurant is clean and the service is top notch. We started with egg rolls and fried rangoons. Yummy! The bride ordered the honey shrimp and I got the general Tso chicken. The food is hot and delicious. Portions allowed for a take home bag! Prices are reasonable for this time we are living. We will definitely come back.

Great find. I work a lot in the Austin area and always looking to try new places and of course being Asian, that is my preferred choice. Well this place makes my top 10 Chinese restaurants in Austin for the lunch price pint of under $10. I order the General Taos Chicken and it was very good. The chicken was cooked just right and the crust was firm. Highly recommend this place. I the issues I would say, their soup needs work. But over all frat experience.

We went for lunch and it was not too busy although about half the tables were taken. Friendly staff especially Amy made us feel very welcome. She checked in multiple times during the meal. We ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and veggie delight. The lunch menu is a little light on vegetarian options although Amy did say they can modify a dish (not substitute) to make it vegetarian- I understood it to mean that they won’t replace meat with tofu but rather you can ask them to hold the meat and then a meat and veggie dish becomes a veggie dish. I did suggest Amy that it would be good to see 1-2 more veggie specials on the lunch menu. Lunch does come with a choice of brown rice or white rice or noodles and choice of egg roll or soup.

The food is fresh, the prices are affordable and the location is great for us! Overall this restaurant is a keeper and we will visit again very soon!
