SUSHI to the MOON

Great sushi place! Casual relaxing atmosphere and the staff are very down to earth and very nice to talk to! Their oysters were beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious! As a Salmon conaseur I had to try their Salmon lover roll and it was to die for , a great mix of raw and cooked salmon! Compliments to Chef Bawi and his beautiful decorations!

First time here and loved it! Not pictured but my favorite was the Lion King roll. Salmon Lovers was a classic pick too!! Overall, good atmosphere and decent fish quality compared to a lot of places I’ve been in the Austin area, their wasabi is also great quality — recommend asking for the pickled wasabi (it’s a few dollars extra and worth it).

This little gem right here is a must to visit. Very friendly, excellent food.we had such rolls , the rice was warm and melting in your mouth. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Usually you find something to complain about but I must say I was truly pleased. Simple yet elegant, bright room , clean and spacious.

I wasn’t expecting to find the best sushi I’ve had in Leander. The restaurant was very clean, comfortable and trendy. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. The bluefin toro was super fresh. We loved the presentation as well. While the prices may seem high, the quality and serving sizes make it worth it. Even a basic roll was delicious. I am returning soon!

I was so excited about this place for the food, atmosphere and especially the value that provided with affordable prices. Alas, that was too good to last!

Here is my experience covering both dine-in and takeout orders…

Dine-in Sushi lunch - excellent quality, prompt service, great atmosphere and excellent value at $14

Take-away Sushi lunch - mixed quality - some excellent but the fish was not fresh in one roll and we had throw it away. Price increased just a few days later to $19 for the same lunch!

I hope they tweak their prices and make it more affordable - please bring back the $14 sushi lunch!!
